| The photos below were taken when Bob Raven and Mary Morning Star, Native American Representatives of the Union Chapel UMC, arranged a trip to the 'Town Creek Indian Mound' in August 2004. Located in Montgomery County this State Historic Site was primarily used for religious ceremonies and the burial of the dead. Raven arranged with Union Chapel to make this trip available to those wishing to increase their understanding of the original inhabitants of the land. |
