Anthony Raven worked the north Eastern United States with his ESP program working anywhere he could and made a name for himself with his "Journey Into The Unknown" program. Using a minimum of props and the old K.I.S.S. principle he amazed audiences. He worked this program through the mid 80's. Concurrent with his mentalism programs, Raven also worked in the Advertising Field---his agency "Lynn Associates" specialized in not only print advertising but in magic for trade shows and meeting production. He produced magic oriented meetings for trade groups , associations and traffic building presentations for large corporations.

During that time he worked for liquor distributors, was "The Man From Danline" for the Newark Brush Company and presented the road show for PATCO Products (a division of Fison's Ltd) called "Fison's Magic Garden" where the amazing Lynn's produced an entire garden on stage---all by Magic! (this again was fashioned in the Al Delage style).

In 1978, after close to 2 years of planning and discussions, Raven and his friends, Scott Gordon, Mary A. Lynn, Dian Buehlmeier and Robert E. Cassidy formed a select group for mentalists and mystery workers. They put a lot of work into creating a force devoted to the psychic entertainer (separate from magician's clubs) to work for the advancement of ethical mental entertainment (no scam artists or fortune tellers allowed). The founding officers of this, the Psychic Entertainer's Association were:

Anthony Raven, President.
Scott Gordon, Vice-President.
Dian Buehlmeier, Secretary.
Mary A. Lynn, Treasurer.
Robert E. Cassidy, Legal Advisor.

"We all held our offices for the first five years until the association was strong enough and then we handed the reins over to others. The P.E.A. is now an exclusive World-Wide group over 25 years in existence."
