Book
10. This appears to be a
stack of very large books when in reality it is a small utility table
which I use for doing close up work. The gold lettering and
craftsmanship is traditional work found in import shops. The picture of
the open book shows that the top book in this stack opens from the spine
side and is a rather deep drawer for props or even as a servant with the
proper padding installed.

Book 11. Shown vertically this stack of three opens to reveal a deep recess for hiding many things. I use this box to hide a motorized set of pulleys for drawing thread across the room by remote control. Picture 11b shows the interior and the motor and battery in place. I use this for a version of Brother Shadow's Poltergeist routine.

Book 12. This is another style of covering for a tape recorder. This cover was made from an old heavy book from which the pages were removed, the cover treated with epoxy detail and the tape recorder installed. It too is a table top book with great magical implications. This view shows the tape recorder. Ideal for that special music background that some stories need.
