booksandboxes p1

Page 1

The first book is not really a box but is a disguise for a small tape recorder which literally plays a part in a presentation with a talking skull. The tape recorder plays a one sided dialog in which the skull carries on a conversation as part of the presentation. I wanted this "book" to be very plain looking so as not to take away from the skull.

The open book reveals the tape recorder.

Book 2 is a commercial book safe. It can be found in many forms. It is designed to keep on your book shelf and hide your valuables. The small cut away section will hold a few small props but don't try to go through the airport with it.

Book 2, Closed. Inside there is the compartment, molded in plastic that has been flocked to give it a finished appearance.

Book 3 is a recent acquisition and has yet to be used in a presentation but it already holds the props for a new story. The interior has not been lined. The quality of the finish is sufficient and space is adequate for a number of props.
