It all started in 1964 when I appeared on earth.  I grew up in Homer,
Michigan, U.S.A.  in the woods with a pond in the backyard. When I was
around nine years old I walked several miles on a hot summer day to the home of my four cousins.  They are all sisters and were older than me, being in their late teens.  I had been there many times before but on that day I entered the living room and it was dark.  The curtains were moving back and forth, I looked and noticed that the windows were open.  On the table was a strange looking board with letters and numbers on it, and near the board was a strange triangle thing.  My cousins, all dressed in black, told me to place my finger tips lightly on the triangle.  They did the same.  They then asked, to who they said was a ghost, questions about me.  The board and ghost seemed to know me as the board spelled out correct answers about me.  I was fascinated and asked what the board was. They told me that it was a Ouija Board which they had got from a witch. Then came the worse part, the trip home alone, I ran back with the speed of a track star.

When I turned twelve I saw a magician at my school and  although I guessed how the magician did his tricks, I needed to know for sure. I read and searched through books in the library and then found out about Abbott's Magic Company. Soon after, my father took me on a hour and a half trip to Colon, Michigan arriving at Abbott's Magic Company.  That day my father bought me a book of card tricks and I left Abbott's feeling 'a full fledged magician'.

I enjoy performing many types of magic.  I perform mostly as Wacky Wayne a kids show entertainer.  However any chance I get, I perform a bizarre effect, including at Child Care centers.  I do perform an age appropriate, humorous bizarre effect.

I also enjoy performing regularly at home parties, bars and clubs. I perform as 'what is happening is for real' and present everything with a story that gives reasons for the magic. Other than my kid show performances, I might best be described as 'a wacky geek magician, making miracles happen and not really sure how'.
