TAROTHOUGHT REVIEWS

#1, by Shane Causer.
"This book is more than a collection of sometimes brilliant, always clever, silent code systems.  Simple? Yes. Are they workable?  Having used them in more than one performing situation, I can attest to their power and ease.  But more than all of that. Ron has done the remarkable in this day and age; he has inspired.  You will never again look at anything in your enviroment without thinking how it can, with a little work, become a code all of your own." That's what I'd tell the world in letters six feet tall."

#2, by R. Lee Davis.
"Having been sent some of Ron Dayton's coding methods, I sat down, weary, trying to put into words my amazement at the flexibility of these many systems. I mean, you can literally code anything, from colors to numbers, cards, people, places, things and events. The only downside to all of these wonderful modes is the chance that, by trying them all out, you might get confused which system you are using at any specific point in time!"

"I rarely use the word "brilliant" when describing techniques and methods, for everything that is out there is some variation on something else. Dayton's coding methods, some of which are included in this collection, are no different. But what is brilliant about them is their ability to code anything that the magician or mentalist could want to be coded. And, truth be known, these were all delivered to me in the course of a few days, so either Dayton has been hoarding them for many years, or else he has an extremely fertile mind, and the talent to focus in on one area and come up literally dozens of solutions. In your hands is 'the' secret communication device between partners, or in between a solo performer and an instant stooge. For the enthusiast, a number of easy-to-do methods that will solve a number of problems. For the professional, a number of solutions to a single problem, just to confuse those of us who watch carefully and try to reconstruct afterward. And for the collector, the greatest assemblage of sneaky-and-nefarious techniques for coding anything, anywhere, anytime, that needs to be coded. Ron Dayton? Brilliant. 'Nuff said."

"
What can I say?  You come up with so many great ideas, and this is one of your finest. I have read the Tarothought material and find it to be quite usable.  The multiple variations allow a coded system to be applied to any number of objects; and the process involved in designing the code is far beyond most of the current systems.  Outstanding tools open a world of opportunities for the mentalist or PSI worker.  Hats off to Ron Dayton for his capable system, and his willingness to share."

#4, by Philip R. Wilmarth.
The very creative Ron Dayton clearly has way too much time on his hands.  Otherwise he could never have created all these clever silent coding methods.  It is nothing short of amazing that he can code so many variables, in so many different ways, without once saying a word.

#5, by Karl Bartoni.
"Having received my copy of Tarothought from Ronald Dayton ( Brother KOTAH), I just have to tell you that this book is a MUST HAVE. The silent coding systems explained in the book are excellent and there are NINE of these along with the one of the same name as the book title. That's not all though, after reading through the book, the reader has the insight to customize the systems to suit their own specific needs.

Ronald has obviously devoted a lot of time to the subject and his writing of the book. It is truly great material and I applaud his hard work, devious thinking and gift to the fraternity. I personally feel that the time is right for a revival of legit two person mentalism, preferably without crazy high priced electronics. His book certainly provides enough valuable information on this topic to form several complete acts or an endless supply of (single) feature effects. I am sure that some individual purchasing this book will end up with a reputation one day.

To be honest in my appraisal, I have to mention one downside to the book! IT'S TOO CHEAP!! However, our Brother KOTAH is always willing to share his knowledge and his book is another fine example of this trait. Buying a copy for a mere thirty eight dollars (including postage within the U.S.A.) is a steal."
