Tony Andruzzi was born Antonio C. Andruzzi in 1925 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He learned magic at the age of 8 from a magic set. From the 1950's to the early 1970's, he was a professional illusionist & comedy magician, adopted the name "Tom Palmer" and had his name legally changed to Thomas S. Palmer.

He was married from 1947 to 1964 to Gloria Jacobsen (now Gloria Marcom) for whom he designed her "Vampira" act in 1960. He invented "Satan's Seat" illusion by 1959. He won 7 TAOM awards (the record) from 1959 to 1963.

As Tom Palmer, he wrote:

• "Modern Illusions" (1959)
• "The Tie Pitch" (1960)
• "The Vampira Act" (1960)
• "The Famous Flea Act" (1962)
• "Cagy Doves" (1962)
• "The Comedy Act of and by Tom Palmer" (1969)

In 1970, he reclaimed Antonio C. Andruzzi as an alternate legal name. He began switching his performance style to "Bizarre Magick" (as "Tony Andruzzi" and "Masklyn ye Mage" and "Daemon Ecks"). He edited the New Invocation, a bizarre magick periodical, from 1981 to 1991 (Issue # 61). Tony founded the "Invocational," an annual conclave of bizarrists. The first Invocational was held October 12 - 14, 1984. The final Invocational was held October 11 - 14, 1990.

As Masklyn ye Mage, he wrote:

• "The Negromicon of Masklyn ye Mage" (1977)
• "Grimoire of the Mages" (1980)
• "The Legendary Scroll of Masklyn ye Mage" (1983)
• "Daemon's Diary" (1984)
