The Who's Who in Storytelling magic archive at Dragonskull includes the profile of Kymeth
Kimberly Keller,
a.k.a. 'Kymeth'
Greetings and Felicitations, I've been involved within the realm of the
esoteric since a wee age. It was during my teen years I became
interested with the mystical, divine, and thaumaturgical. I became
acquainted with Psi/Bizarre Magick initially when I read two books: The
first book, a paperback, How To Produce Miracles, by Ormond McGill.
Then years later the second book beckoned me, The Big Book of Boo, by T.
Everett Bookings, III (Lary Kuehn). It was when I procured vintage pieces of Robert Nelson's 'Cold Reading' material which ultimately led me to a variety of cleverly written Bizarre works by: Jim Magus (James Salterella), Stephen Minch, Eugene Burger, John Riggs (Jon St.Germain), Banachek (Steven Shaw), Philip Goldstein (Max Maven), David Zver, and I was jaw-dropped hooked. Yet, it was ultimately when I purchased a copy of, Have Séance Will Travel, by Brother Shadow (Carl Herron), that I knew my life had just changed. Basically, after reading Shadow's work, along with the works from the authors mentioned above, I revamped my Holly wand by imbuing it with 'alloys of enchanted rare earth elements' and let's just say the rest is history. Past member of: Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.), American Tarot Association (A.T.A.), Builders of the Adytum (B.O.T.A.), Church of Light (aka Brotherhood of Light), and The Magi Society. Initiated into the Craft August 1983, under the tutelage of 'Babetta,' Los Angeles, CA. In 2001, I became an ordained Metaphysical minister, and the reason why I prefer to be beckoned as 'Sister Kymeth.' In 2005, I became a Spiritual Medium. Then over the years from 2005 to 2010, I became proficient in Energy Healing and grew to become a professional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Shihan. It was in 2009, I mastered the art of Esoteric Perfumery, as I've always loved the realm of essence and the Art of the olfactory. In 2010, I received Practitioner Diplomas in Colour Therapy (aka Chroma-Therapy) and Crystal Therapy. Lastly in 2014, with the culmination of my life-long learning and a deep desire, I became a Two-Headed Doctor, aka Conjurer/Root-Worker. My Psi/Bizarrist abilities include: Cartomancy - utilizing antique decks of cards, Past-life Astrology, Tarot Divination, Candle Readings, Chemical Magic (Many thanks to Larry White - may he rest in peace). The parlor musings include: Story-Telling paired with Phrenology, Palmistry, Pendulums, Bone Readings, Tasseomancy, Crystals, Color Therapy, Botanomancy, Kinesiology, Conjure/Root Work, German Braucheri/Pow-wow, and Spiritualism (séance, table-tipping, planchette, dowsing, etc.). I've performed at pubs, clubs, and for private parties in the Los Angeles and Metro Orange County areas. I wish to thank the following gentlemen for aiding me upon this unique path: Sam Hawley (Psiman) - For being my initial guide into the realm of Bizarre Magick, and opening many doors. I thank you, dear sir - you changed my life. Carl Herron (Brother Shadow) - I thank you so very much for the honor of your invitation, and for furnishing me the opportunity to tread upon the 'Bizarre' path. It has been a great pleasure to be a part of the 'Shadow Network.' I always loved your stories, and may you still be teaching The Path of Roodmas. Karl Bartoni - For your friendship over the years, warm chit-chat, and the gracious invitation to be included into the 'Who's Who of Bizarre.' It has been such a great pleasure to be friends over the many miles and years. Thank you so very much. May your cherished Barney and Charlie, along with my treasured Merlin, and beloved Gizzymoto be each playing happily together upon and around the Rainbow Bridge. Joe Lantiere - For your steadfast friendship and kindness all these years. I greatly appreciate your magical inklings and sharings. I still relish the day I got to 'meet' you. It was like my beloved, tattered, and treasured booklist (kept hidden within my wallet) from your original bookshop bibliography many moons ago springing into life. Thank you, my wonderful, and majickal friend. Now to all who have read my information, I leave you with this: "May God be between you and harm in all the barren places you may tread." ~ Egypt, 18th Dynasty. Blessed be, Sister Kymeth |
