'Kali'
| Kali was
raised in sunny Florida, moving to New York state when she was a
teenager. It was at this time she was introduced to the performing
arts participating in the school band., chorus and school plays and
productions. While in high school, she studied modern dance as
well as ice skating and was fortunate to study dance under Martha Graham
as well.
In December of 1999 Kali met her husband, Neech, who was at the time, performing magic in New York City. She started assisting him and learning performing and magic. She assists Neech with his magical performances handling the choreography, editing the music and even with the invention of new magic techniques and props. Kali also takes care of and trains the animal stars of the magic performances. Kali loves being involved with Neech's show. She is now starting to perform some magic for the first time. She finds working with the props to be a little challenging, but it is definitely lots of fun and unique ! When she is not performing with Neech, Kali performs crystal ball scrying and tarot readings. Kali is a member of the Shadow Digest, organizer of the Society of Young Magicians of New Paltz and founder & high priestess of the Brooms of Elder Coven. When she and Neech are not busy with their magic Kali also enjoys many other activities such as, snow skiing, snow boarding, sailing, studying herbs, alchemy and horseback riding. They also have two children together, Giovanni and Dante, who they hope will follow in their mommy and daddy's magical footsteps! |
