Following a long illness on Monday May
2, 2016, Peter Marucci passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace in
his 77th year with his wife by his side. Peter is survived by his aunt
Mary (”Mame”) Marucci of Guelph. Peter was a long-time member of the
International Brotherhood of Magicians, the Society of American Magicians

Stefan Dardik:-
I
liked Peter and he was always a clever thinker. It's sad to see another
fall to time. Like others, he will be missed. Goodbye Peter, all the best
to you on the great stage in the sky.
This
is a great long UK article interviewing our friend Peter Marucci, HERE
And another good article on Peter from
2014, HERE

Bartoni:-
In December 2011 he told me, in the strictest confidence, that he had
Parkinsons Desease and even emailing me was very difficult. Although we never met,
prior to his illness we were continually in contact via emails and as many
of you know, he contributed a lot to Dragonskull. He was already greatly
missed after he became ill but it's so sad that his absence is now forever and that this wonderful man has joined the ranks of many
other inspirational 'brothers' who have passed over to other planes. My
sincere commiserations and thoughts to all his family.
Karl.

Caulfield:-
Peter Marucci was such a great talent! His "The Ripper Strikes"
was the inspiration for the 1st bizarre magick effect I created,
"Jack." We've lost another Great One, Fellow Mages.
Of course, "that which was not born, cannot die," so he's still
be here for us, probably, as I type, chasing DeNomolos around there
with a deck of cards. They'll just be communication issues we will each
have to solve in our own manner.

Shadow Dwellers: It's sad that this list is
getting longer. The greatest inspirations to me on SD who have passed
include Brother Shadow: without whom SD would not exist.
Gene Poinc NLT+++++++++: the reason I joined SD and whose online battles
with Circe we both enjoyed.
Larry White - mentor, teacher, writer; he allowed me to edit "Devil
of a Bar & Pub."
Ed Solomon - Denomolos - champion of all good storytelling.
and now Peter Marucci - chilling stories that inspired.
