Everyone knows the ditty, sung to the tune of "Ta-Ra-Ra-Boom-De Ay!" but no one really knows the person behind the song. For more than one hundred years, Lizzie Borden and her hatchet have caused more confusion, speculation and debate than any other murder case in American history.

On 29th January 2001, after a few years of planning and writing by Larry White (Editor of M.U.M Magazine), a selected group were invited to step into the Borden House in Fall River, Massachusetts (virtually unchanged since the time of those gruesome murders in 1982) and take part in a theatrical 'Séance' (or did Lizzie really take over?).

The idea of the séance was born of Larry White who wrote the shows script with fellow professional magician, Al Manson. Along with White and Manson, Bruce Kalver (magician and actor) and Michele Bourget (actress) are the fictional characters in the production. Bruce plays Professor Albert Allbridge, who shares his knowledge of the Borden house and murders and lays down the facts to the mystery. Michele plays the part of Hester Sullivan Hancock, the granddaughter of the Borden's maid, Bridget Sullivan.

This was the first of several performances of this atmospheric séance, the last one in 2001 was at the Inner Circle Of Bizarre Magic Convention.
